Our Dual Language Model Has Several Goals

First

The first and main goal is to meet the current need to develop dual language professionals in different degree disciplines where students can develop the skills necessary to compete in a global society.

Second

It seeks to develop social and academic language across the curriculum to provide students with the opportunity to learn through both languages, while developing degree-related skills and understanding different cultures.

Third

Our model seeks to provide the labor market with bilingual and competent individuals who can meet the needs of their employers and the growing global market economy by offering 50% of the instruction in English and 50% in Spanish,

Fourth

The dual language model seeks to support adult learners in becoming bilingual, biliterate, and bicultural.
