Short bio:

Ileana Rivera is a partner at Terra Immigration. Her philosophy is to provide clients with an honest and feasible solution to their case.

Mrs. Rivera earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Puerto Rico in 1993. After years working as a manager for the private and government sectors, and living through injustices during those years, she decided to study law hoping to help others navigate the judicial system. In 2013, she earned a Juris Doctor from the Interamerican University and is a member of the Puerto Rican Bar and the U.S. District Court Bar.

Mrs. Rivera’s legal experience is diverse. She practiced criminal defense with the Public Defender’s Office of Puerto Rico. Later, she clerked for The Hon. Brian K. Tester, U.S. Bankruptcy Judge. She also interned fat the Interamerican University Legal Clinic.

Mrs. Rivera has worked pro bono for the Puerto Rico Bar Association where she litigated various cases. She also worked for two years for the Supreme Court of Puerto Rico creating and implementing the educational program to educate visitors about the judicial system and the history of the Supreme Court.

Later, Mrs. Rivera founded her own law firm along an experienced immigration attorney. After some time, she worked with the Law Firm, Maney, Gordon, Zeller, Immigration Attorneys, prior to co-founding Terra Immigration Partners. At Terra, Mrs. Rivera practices U.S. Immigration Law exclusively. She is authorized to practice Immigration Law in all the states of the United States and its territories.

Mrs. Rivera offers honest and detailed service to every client that walks through her doors. She has vast experience in family and business immigration including services for employers, entrepreneurs, and investors. Mrs. Rivera has a 100% success rate in all her cases. She speaks English and Spanish fluently and is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
